What is the role of an Assistant Branch Manager?
The key objectives of this position are to manage the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service area, including supervision of Customer Service Team members.  The person in this role will also have the opportunity to be a representative of Heartland Bank in the community, along with developing community, customer and business relationships.
What will you do as an Assistant Branch Manager?
The Assistant Branch Manager runs the day-to-day operations of the Customer Service area.  This requires thorough knowledge of Bank and teller processes, while also coaching and developing team members.  In this role, you also contribute to business development and promotional opportunities, along with maintaining a community presence.  You will be responsible for achieving results for our Bank, today and tomorrow, by:

What is the schedule for an Assistant Branch Manager?
This is a full time position, and the working hours are generally 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday.  The position also is part of a Saturday rotation, and will include working a Saturday schedule to be determined.
What education/experience is preferred for an Assistant Branch Manager?
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or related field
  • Two to four years of supervisory or related experience
